If you are like me, you’d want to carry your laptop/tablet in style. Of course, it is not always possible when it is related to the work laptop which might need to follow some formal guidelines. But for those who are not constrained, or when it comes to personal laptops, there are a multitude of options out there. Last week while in Lulu Mall, Kochi, I checked out the Lavie Blossom Laptop Backpack. And here I review it in detail…

Lavie Blossom Laptop Backpack is compact yet functional. It comes in two colors – red and black. The latter might fit in well in a corporate environment. Both variants have pink accents in the form of zip heads. It has three main compartments, with the one at the very back meant for the laptop, and all three having zip closures. There are plenty of sections in the remaining compartments. The middle one has a number of smaller pouches for small stationery items as well as a wide open wall pouch.

The zip compartment at the very front has two smaller pouches, each approximately half the width of the bag, along with a netted open pouch and another closed zipped pouch. Apart from these there is also an open pouch at the very front of the bag with a Velcro closure.

At its dimensions of 32 CM X 38 CM X 9 CM, most new age laptops will fit in with ease, not to mention tablets, though Lavie does have sleek tablet bags in its portfolio. Along with the broad and comfortable back straps, the Blossom Backpack also has two top handles. The material used is polyester. It retails for INR 3,290. It is priced slightly on the higher side, but such investments are one time and usually last very long. Though the bag gets a thumbs up, at this price, I would have expected netted side pockets on the outside to carry a bottle and cater to the needs of those on the go.
