New Launches

Spring Summer ’15 Collection By Hidesign

Hidesign Spring Summer 2015

Each time I see an exciting new collection, I feel a rush of adrenaline. You know, the sort of collection that sparks a desire to start saving to own at least a few pieces from it. The SS’15 launch by Hidesign completely fulfills the traits mentioned above. The brand has brought in a whole lot of novelty in the designs and stitching details. Sophistication and elegance are the cornerstone of this collection. The bags make for perfect formal accessories and a few of them even double up as casual ones. There are a total of seventeen bags, comprising of shoulder bags, totes, cross-bodys, wallets and clutches with a mix of structured and semi-structured bags. The colors are inspired by the vast expanse of the oceans and white clouds above them. What’s most striking according to me is the weave embossed leather that can be seen on on the Jakarta cross-body and the Mexico tote, for example. It is one of the newer textures by Hidesign than the more common crocodile or python leathers. My favorites, however, are the two Newson bags for their exaggerated stitch that adds a unique appeal. The price ranges from INR 1,995 to INR 7,595. They are available in stores starting this April, so if this collection gets you excited like me, lose no time in hitting their stores! I will bring to you detailed review as and when I check them out at the stores myself. For now, read the press release below and then go through the pictures:

Newson, made in soft leather is a slouchy bag with beautiful hand stitched details which is great to carry for a day out. Made in crocodile embossed leather, Makeda is an elegant bag which fits in all your work essentials. With its attractive hanging charm, Ayana is sure to catch the attention.  The bags lend a touch of sophistication with clean and minimal work on them.

Mother to three lovely boys and wife of a banking professional, I am extremely passionate about a host of topics, bags being one of them. For the record, the others are - makeup, travel, photography, in no particular order. Here I share my perspective on the Indian as well as the international bag-scene. As a youngster I would spend most of my money on bags and carry one according to my outfit. It is this love that I express through this blog. Needless to say, any suggestions for improvement, even healthy criticisms, are highly encouraged. Hope you enjoy your stay here and find something useful to help you on your next bag purchase!
