One of the movies I can never tire of watching is the Kareena Kapoor – Shahid Kapoor starrer Jab We Met. That girl, Geet, was so full of life and cheer that every moment of life was a celebration. Now why are we talking about this movie in a post that should talk about Baggit’s Spring Summer 2015 collection?
Read that tagline – ‘Play the life game’? The moment I read it, it brought memories of this film flooding into mind. Remember the scene when she elopes from home with Aditya and they are holed up in the roof of her sprawling mansion? She then says the following:
“…kyunki ye mera favorite game hai – Zindagi!”
Now you know the connection! And our collection at hand is indeed brimming with life and has a bag for each of this game’s hits and misses.
When I go through a new Baggit launch, I usually go ‘Wow’, ‘Wow’…for the two or three bags I swoon over. This time around it was ‘Wow’, ‘Wow’, ‘Wow’, ‘Wow’, ‘Wow’, (do I sound like a pup?) one for each of the five of seven in the collection. The colors, shapes, comfort, size – every department taken utmost care of. In fact, the colors are the foremost attractions; you’d be drawn to them like flies to candy. Whether you want to lug your whole world around with you or suffice to carry the essentials, there is a size for you. Three of my favorites have rounded handles, yet do not cause much of a concern. Either their shape makes the bag sit snug under the shoulder or it’s their longer and flat cross-body handle. Yet, there is one lone cross-body bag that is morose in a dull brown color and I wonder why. Perhaps it’s for the men, but these days men are happily sporting colors hitherto considered to belong to a woman’s zone.
Here comes the part that I get most jittery about. Shooting myself with these bags that are poised to rise to stardom and also pose like they know it! It was one of those too-good-to-be-true moments, surrounded by the latest Baggit beauties! Honestly, it is not every day that this happens!
My top picks among them are all bags on the right of the image, the red bag and the blue-yellow bag on the left. We would review each of these in detail, as we resume our a-bag-a-day feature with Baggit. The prices are in the range of INR 2,400 to INR 3,350, something we have come to expect from Baggit. But yes, their bags are also known for their durability and low maintenance.
Enjoy the individual bag pictures for now, I’ll bring each bag to you in detail. The first five are my absolute favorites!
Wow love these bags
Hi Ananya – anyone in particular that you like?
