Ecstasy. That’s describing this bag in one word. Trust me, I had to put up a brave fight against my temptation (as I had already exhausted by bag budget for this month) – that’s Hidesign Mara 01 for you. Do not let the small size deceive you – it’s got good space in terms of compartments, that is, it is good to keep your bag organized. I have seen ladies carry those huge totes, which have one single main compartment and may be one or two smaller zipped pockets – the central compartment resembles a junk yard more often than not. Try to imagine finding a small item from among the junk – unadulterated pain.
The below pictures are from the Hidesign store in Phoenix Market City, Bangalore and I thank the shop assistant there for allowing me to click pictures.
Mara 01 is a perfect sized shoulder bag. True, it won’t fit your laptop or clothes or other such items, but then not very bag needs to be a duffel bag or suitcase right? The color palette consists of a bright navy blue and mustard, which is only present as accents. It has a single shoulder strap and golden metallic hardware. The shoulder strap is mustard in color and is detachable so that the bag can be used as a large clutch. The front flap has a mustard colored leather pattern with two buckles.
The flap has two snap button magnetic closures underneath it. Once you open the flap, there is a pouch that runs the full length of the bag right behind the counterparts of the button closures on the flap. The central section is divided into two sections by a zipped divider. There is an inner zipper pocket and mobile pouches. There is another snap button closure at the back of the bag that also runs the length of the bag. This is so handy for quick-access items. I keep stressing so much on quick-access pockets/pouches – it is an absolute must for women on the go!
The material used is Pebble leather and its costs INR 3,995. You could find some discount coupons on the online shopping websites from time to time. Utility and quality-wise, go for it ladies without a hint of doubt!
