Review: Baggit ‘L Twitter’

Baggit L Twitter

These periods of being away from the blog are painful. But there are some situations in life when we are just helpless. And when internet connectivity issues are not fixed in a jiffy in this day and age, it is nothing short of annoying. As if that wasn’t enough WordPress suddenly decides to not co-operate, giving me issues in image upload. However, that does not really keep my away from bags! 🙂 I am out at the malls pouring over the bags section. There are a few brands that always stand out.

This time it was Baggit, yet again. This brand never fails to impress. Their counters are forever teeming with new bags. They have a mind boggling variety of styles, innovative storage design and, I was pleasantly surprised with their new colors! Ditching the dull colors of browns and greys, there were purples, yellows and greens! Scanning the entire section, my eyes fixated on this bag called the ‘L Twitter’ (someday I wish to decode their naming convention!). This is more of a mini review because I wasn’t carrying my camera and these have been taken from my phone.

It is a simple, no-frills, medium sized shoulder bag with all the space you need within. What sets it apart is the shoulder strap. A flat strap that is placed at the center of the top flap rather than going from side to side. The advantage is that it fits snugly under your arm without slipping down every so often. In terms of storage it is has the regular Baggit signature style – central compartment divided into two by a zipped section, an inner zipped pocket at the back wall and an outer zipped compartment at the back with a phone pouch. The top flap has a twist lock. The hardware is in gold. It is available in purple, yellow, olive and teal. The price is reasonable at INR 2425. In fact, at the time I visited there was the Happiness sale on at Central and after the discount it was available at around INR 2000.

The pictures don’t quite do justice to the beauty of the bag but at least you can get a hang of it.

Mother to three lovely boys and wife of a banking professional, I am extremely passionate about a host of topics, bags being one of them. For the record, the others are - makeup, travel, photography, in no particular order. Here I share my perspective on the Indian as well as the international bag-scene. As a youngster I would spend most of my money on bags and carry one according to my outfit. It is this love that I express through this blog. Needless to say, any suggestions for improvement, even healthy criticisms, are highly encouraged. Hope you enjoy your stay here and find something useful to help you on your next bag purchase!
