The biker collection for Pre-Fall ’13 has some stunning bags apart from their iconic shoes. Biker was originally their shoe collection that has now inspired their bags as well. These are sans a structure and the slouchy frame is adorned by signature metal biker chains. The effect of metal chains against different textures of leather is absolute eye candy. Take a look at the Blare Tote in Black:
The silver hardware, led by the chains, against black leather is the highlight. Also, if you have been reading this site, you’d know that utility scores the highest for me. Hence, the open side pockets allowing easy and instant access to its contents get thumbs up from me.
Another favourite of mine is the Chandra clutch in platinum cracked metallic leather. Just can’t stop ogling at the beautiful texture that is cracked leather. Though the website says this clutch can be carried on the red carpet as well, I think the chains add a tough-look dimension that may not go too well with the carpet.
The interior lining appears luxurious as well. The inner zip seems almost as long as the clutch where one could store valuables such as cash or phone.
There is the Large Biker bag also in cracked leather. I have earmarked some budget to hunt down and buy a cracked leather bag soon. I mean, I just need to have this.
Then comes my most coveted styles, the multi-functional strap bag. This one can be carried over the shoulder, across the body or simply as a clutch. It is called the Bex and it makes its debut in the Fall Winter 2013 collection.
It has two compartments – one zippered pocket on the flap and one main section also with a zip.
Not sure about you, but for me the key take away from this collection – metallic cracked leather bags, no doubt!
