Dorothy Perkins at Jabong

Dorothy Perkins at Jabong

Fashion Weeks are such fun times! Each day runs high with anticipation about what the designers have in store for us. Baggit was the official handbag partner of the just concluded Lakme Fashion Week and we know just how incredible their bags are. What is new, however, is the launch of the Dorothy Perkins line in India, brought exclusively by Jabong. To give a quick introduction, Dorothy Perkins is a women’s fashion retail line based out of UK. It is a 90 year old brand with an established presence across UK and catering primarily to women in their 20’s and 30’s.

As such the collection has youthful characteristics. Coming to the handbags, we found they would fit more in a formal environment rather than a casual one, with mostly colors such as brown, tan, black, beige and white. Price range is reasonable and comparable to the other Indian bag makers. The material used is PU. While they are not ground-breaking in terms of design they certainly do exude sophistication and class. Presenting below our favourite picks!

About the author

Vidya Gupta

Mother to three lovely boys and wife of a banking professional, I am extremely passionate about a host of topics, bags being one of them. For the record, the others are - makeup, travel, photography, in no particular order. Here I share my perspective on the Indian as well as the international bag-scene. As a youngster I would spend most of my money on bags and carry one according to my outfit. It is this love that I express through this blog. Needless to say, any suggestions for improvement, even healthy criticisms, are highly encouraged. Hope you enjoy your stay here and find something useful to help you on your next bag purchase!
