A handbag is a woman’s must-have accessory. When asked just how many bags are enough, she is very likely to give an irritated look! However, it is a pertinent question that needs to be answered.
Just how many handbags are good enough for a woman? One for each occasion or one for each time of the day or one to go with each dress of hers or one to suit all her varied moods?
Different research studies point to different answers to this question, however as per me a woman should have the following essentials in her collection:
- A formal handbag for office use – my personal choice here would be a leather bag. Hidesign fits in most aptly.

- One for personal / shopping trips – this should most preferably be a sling bag that helps one to be hands-free. And when there is a baby to be carried around, the importance of the sling bag cannot be stressed on enough. Baggit is what springs to mind.

- A small purse or a clutch – in fact, this can go with even the bigger bags to carry money and cards in, or standalone. The choices here are countless.

- A trendy handbag for functions and parties. These should be at least two or three in number to go with each shade of dress – Blue, Red, Yellow. These can be mixed and matched with myriad dress color options. A Lavie or Holii could be a perfect companion. Holii in fact offers a spectrum of colors.
