The long weekend had plenty of shopping trips. One such trip was to the colorful little store called Fancy Chilli in HSR Layout, Bangalore. They stock mostly hand made products – everything from earrings to small drawers, crockery, decorative items etc. The store by itself is a small one, but every nook and corner has something different to offer. I spent close to an hour there and bought two pairs of earrings and this cane clutch. In fact, they had a sale of 30% going on, on one section of bags.
It is a well-designed and crafted clutch, with more-than-expected partitions within it. What I also liked was that the partitions are made of cloth, not of the rigid cardboard-like material that usually comes with such bags. So the exterior is tough and cane-like, the interior is soft and cloth-like. They have a couple of more colors for the flap design and trims.
It even has a mirror in the inner side of the flap. At INR 350, I thought it was reasonably priced. Do check out their Facebook page for regular updates on new arrivals:
